At ngeMeal, your privacy is our priority. We are committed to being transparent about the data we collect and how it is used.
We want to make it clear that ngeMeal does not collect, store, or sell any personal data from users. We do not request or store information such as your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifiable personal information.
The only data we analyze is usage data, such as the number of API requests and general application performance metrics. This information is collected automatically to help us monitor the usage of our service and ensure the application runs smoothly. For example, if we notice that usage is reaching certain limits, we may upgrade our service capacity to maintain optimal performance.
All usage data is used solely for technical improvements and service optimization. It is not used for marketing purposes, is not linked to any individual user, and is never shared or sold to third parties.
ngeMeal requires permission to access your device's camera. This access is solely used for the Barcode Scanner feature, which allows users to scan food product barcodes. Camera access is not used for any other purposes and no images or videos are stored or transmitted.
ngeMeal may request access to your device’s Advertising ID to support limited advertising-related functionality or analytics. This identifier may be used by third-party services (e.g., for ad performance measurement or attribution) in compliance with Google Play policies.
All user data created within the ngeMeal application is stored locally on the user's device. We do not store any user data on external servers or cloud services. Users have full control over their data and may delete all saved data at any time through the Settings Tab within the application.
By using ngeMeal, you consent to the processing of usage data solely for the purpose of maintaining and improving the service, and you acknowledge and agree to the access of the camera solely for the barcode scanning functionality.
